  Al-Ahsa Oasis, also known as al-Ḥasāʾ (الْحَسَا) or Hajar (هَجَر), is an oasis and historical region in eastern Saudi Arabia. Al-Ahsa Governorate, which makes up much of the country's Eastern Province, is named after it. The oasis is located about 60 km inland from the coast of the Persian Gulf. Al-Ahsa Oasis comprises four main cities and 22 villages. The cities include Al-Mubarraz and Al-Hofuf, two of the largest cities in Saudi Arabia.

  Rock Art in the Ha'il Region is the fourth site in Saudi Arabia to be inscribed on the UNESCO List of World Heritage Sites. The rock art consists of two sites with petroglyphs and inscriptions situated in the desert of the Ha'il Region:Jabel Umm mountain at the city of Jubbah 90 km northwest of Ha'il within the Nafud desert. Jabal Al-Manjor and jabal Raat at Al-Shuwaymis 250 km southwest of Ha'il on the border between the provinces of Ha’il and Medina.

  Bir Hima is a rock art site in Najran province, in southwest Saudi Arabia, about 120 kilometres (75 mi) north of the city of Najran. An ancient site of Prehistoric Arabia, it was settled during the Paleolithic and Neolithic periods, with the Bir Hima Complex covering the time period of 7000–1000 BC. Bir Hima contains numerous troughs whose type is similar from North Arabia to Yemen.

  Qaryat Al Faw, also known as Qaryat Dhat Kahil, was once the capital of the Kingdom of Kinda, now an archaeological site. It is located about 100 km south of Wadi ad-Dawasir, and about 700 km southwest of Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia. The archeological site reveals various features such as residential houses, markets, roads, cemeteries, temples, and water wells.

  At-Turaif is a historic district located in Diriyah, north-west of Riyadh. It is regarded as one of the more important political and historical sites in Saudi Arabia, as it represented the capital of the early Saudi kingdom. It was the original home of the House of Saud and was the country's first capital from 1727 until Ottoman conquest of the area in 1818.
